Keep one colour, or close shades, from waist to shoe so the eye travels without a break; tonal outfits add height. Choose high-rise bottoms, a top tucked or ending at the waist, vertical details like an open long shrug or a front placket, and pointed or nude shoes. A kurta that ends just above the knee with straight pants looks taller than a long kurta with a churidar bunched at the ankle.
