What should I wear for Teej?
Green is the colour of Hariyali Teej, along with leheriya, the wave-dyed Rajasthani pattern, in greens, pinks and yellows. A leheriya saree or suit with green bangles and mehendi is the classic combination. Teej falls in the monsoon, so prefer cotton, chiffon or georgette that dries quickly over heavy silk.
