What should I wear in the Indian summer that still looks put together?
Cotton, linen and anything loose that moves air: an oversized shirt over a tank, wide trousers, a cotton kurta, a slip dress with flat sandals. Light colours reflect heat and hide sweat worse, so pick mid-tones (sage, sand, dusty blue) over white. Keep one light layer for over-air-conditioned rooms.
